Sircilla is a city and a municipality in Karimnagar district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Siricilla name came from sirishala. Majority of people belong's to padmashali caste. There are lot of suicides of weavers from last 10 years because of poverty & crisis.

Sircilla is famous for handloom and powerloom industry. People more than 90 percent of the town have the powerlooms as their profession. Nalla Parandhamulu made a saree fits into a match box. A textile park appears at Baddenapalli, just ~5 km from the heart of the town, contains all different models of looms from ancient handloom to latest machines of powerlooms which is providing jobs for thousands of people. Lands were given to the weavers at reasonable price to setup their own factories and machines. Currently, many people have already set up their own factories and providing employment to many others. This is developing at a fast pace.
